What is a Frame Garden?

Frame Gardens are a fairly simple premise, they create a frame around your garden or act as a border to divide up your outdoor space. In much the same way you frame a picture, the frame itself shouldn’t be the centre of attention, but instead bring your focus to the centrepiece, whether that be a lawn, outdoor seating area or BBQ.

The Brief

Love this screen we’ve created. It lines perfectly with the screen at the back of the garden to create a little snug area. Our clients wanted relaxation areas that provided privacy in an overlooked garden. Two areas were created in different areas of the garden.

The Solution

Following our garden concept planning service our clients, had the selection of three garden designs, they chose the garden with maximum screening and seating areas.

Carefully chosen materials through the use of London stone and Millboard create different elements, areas and textures.

The expertly set lighting allows for soft and elegant lighting for night-time entertaining.

The raised beds allow for planting with colour that has been chosen for ease of maintenance.

The Outcome

This is a bold design built to reflect the modern style of the house, offers plenty of seating, privacy and areas for planting.

The screening painted black ensures that it stands out against the green hues of the garden.
